BRIDGE TO 10K, WEEK 1

Plan

  • Monday: DOR (gotta start off the week with a rest day)
  • Tuesday: Run 10 mins, walk 1 min X 4 sets (+ 5 min warm up and cool down)
  • Wednesday: Kettlebell workout
  • Thursday: Run 10 mins, walk 1 min X 4 sets (+ 5 min warm up and cool down)
  • Friday: DOR
  • Saturday: Run 10 mins, walk 1 min X 4 sets (+ 5 min warm up and cool down)
  • Sunday: Swim

Actual

  • Monday: DOR
  • Tuesday: Ran 4.37 painstakingly sweaty miles on the TM
  • Wednesday: Kettlebell workout
  • Thursday: Ran 4.57 poopy miles on the TM
  • Friday: DOR
  • Saturday: DOR (unless cleaning the house counts?)
  • Sunday: Ran 4.69 glorious miles on the Neponset Trail

Summary: Not great, but not bad!

Now for next week…

  • Monday: Kettlebell workout
  • Tuesday: Run 15 min, walk 1 min x 3 (+ 5 min warm up and cool down)
  • Wednesday: Long walk with the dog
  • Thursday: DOR
  • Friday: Run 15 min, walk 1 min x 3 (+ 5 min warm up and cool down)
  • Saturday: DOR
  • Sunday: Run 15 min, walk 1 min x 3 (+ 5 min warm up and cool down)

  1. Tiffany, believe it or not, your logs motivate me and I often feel like putting my workouts too. There are days I don’t wanna wake up early to run, then I read your posts and hits me.
