Bridge to 10K Training, Week 2

Sorry for the update delay! Yesterday was a busy day playing with puppies and a baby, so I didn’t have time. =)

BRIDGE TO 10K, WEEK 2

Plan

  • Monday: Kettlebell workout
  • Tuesday: Run 15 min, walk 1 min x 3 (+ 5 min warm up and cool down)
  • Wednesday: Long walk with the dog
  • Thursday: DOR
  • Friday: Run 15 min, walk 1 min x 3 (+ 5 min warm up and cool down)
  • Saturday: DOR
  • Sunday: Run 15 min, walk 1 min x 3 (+ 5 min warm up and cool down)

Actual

  • Monday: Kettlebell workout
  • Tuesday: Dog walk 1.5 miles
  • Wednesday: Ran 4.91 miles, treadmill
  • Thursday: DOR
  • Friday: DOR
  • Saturday: Painted the house for 4 hours.. Does that count?
  • Sunday: Dog walk 1.84 miles

Summary: Could have done better and gotten in another run in the week, but I let laziness rule over me.

Now, onto week three…

  • Friday: Run 17 min, walk 1 min x 3 (+ 5 min warm up and cool down)
  • Saturday: DOR… Flying to London!
  • Sunday: Walking around London
