LET’S FACE IT —
It’s so much easier after a hard day’s work to order some food for delivery that we’ll most likely be regretting a few hours later.
Skip the heartburn, tummy troubles, whateverelsethatidon’twanttogrossyououtwithhere and try some of these go-to recipes that I like but don’t always have a whole lot of time to make. Since I really like to eat and I’m sure one day my husband will eventually grow sick of cooking for me, I’ve been trying to cook more.
My “culinary skills” are a work in progress, but since I don’t want to some day starve to death or eat take-away for the rest of my life, I’ll keep working at it. Also, this year I decided to really focus on my health so most of these recipes are “lightened up.” However, you can embrace the fat kid in you and just substitute healthier ingredients for the less healthy ingredients like full-fat butter, less lean ground beef, etc… Just don’t go too crazy there.
I’m going to try and add the nutrition facts for these recipes, too. The hard part is figuring out where and how to do it…
